how xrppad works.

01overview

xrppad is a launchpad with two halves. the coin itself is a solana token: it is created, bought and sold on solana. alongside it, every launch is etched on the xrp ledger — a permanent on-chain record of the coin, tied to its solana mint.

short version: solana is where it trades, xrp is where it's etched.

02wallets

you need a solana wallet with some sol. supported:

  • phantom
  • solflare
  • backpack

xrppad never sees your private key. the site builds a transaction, your wallet shows it to you, and nothing happens unless you approve it there.

03launching a coin

  1. open create and connect your wallet.
  2. enter a ticker, a name, a short description and a picture (required, max 2mb).
  3. optionally choose a first buy (0–50 sol) so you hold some supply from block one.
  4. the picture and details are uploaded to ipfs and a pump.fun create transaction is built.
  5. you sign it in your wallet and it's sent to solana mainnet.
  6. our server checks the transaction on-chain — the mint exists and you are the creator.
  7. only then is the coin etched on the xrp ledger and listed on the board.

04trading & the bonding curve

coins launch through pump.fun, so trading starts the moment the create transaction lands. price follows a bonding curve: every buy moves the price up, every sell moves it down. there is no presale and no team allocation beyond what the creator buys.

when the curve fills, the coin graduates to a solana dex and keeps trading there. you can trade any coin on its pump.fun page — the "live on solana" link on the board.

05supply

every coin has a fixed supply of 1,000,000,000. no mint authority is kept, so no more can ever be created.

06xrp ledger etching

after a launch is verified, xrppad writes a transaction to the xrp ledger with a memo tagged xrppad containing the coin's ticker, name and solana mint. that record is public and permanent — anyone can look it up.

each coin on the board shows its own etch status. when etched, an "xrpl etch" link opens the transaction on the xrp ledger explorer. if it says pending or failed, it hasn't been written yet.

07fees

xrppad charges no launch fee. you only pay:

  • pump.fun's own creation cost
  • solana network fees
  • your optional first buy

08the board

the homepage only lists coins that were actually launched through xrppad and verified on solana. no sample coins, no made-up prices. if nobody has launched yet, it's empty.

09risks

memecoins are extremely volatile and most go to zero. anyone can launch anything — check the mint and creator before you buy. transactions on solana and the xrp ledger can't be reversed.

xrppad is not affiliated with ripple. nothing here is financial advice.
